The bad news is they offer a lifetime guarantee - it doesn't last a lifetime. But with heavy use, it can last more than a year. Which is very good for headphones under $50. On my third sentence. Totally happy with them. The best I've found. Well one of the three received a complaint from a caller - I said so and got a replacement. They stay in place and won't hurt your ears. They don't fall off your head when moving. You don't have to constantly put them back in your ear. I don't select audio, but I mostly use them for voiceovers, audiobooks, podcasts, and the like. Not much music. Happy with the music, but I'm not a qualified judge. The new versions are even better. They will be further developed and improved. I wish there was a built in controller that worked. But nobody is perfect.
