I bought 2 of these tables to use as end tables on either side of the sofa. I chose this model because of the 2 shelves at the bottom so I can store books, a laptop, a tissue box and anything else that we use and can have handy from time to time. The tables are really well made, solid and with a very nice finish. The underside of the tables is painted black for a cleaner finish and the screws are attached to washers with special glue at their ends for better fixation. The tables were easy to assemble as they are designed to hold the shelves attached to the legs while screwing them on without the help of a second person. These tables are really impressive. Before I placed my order, I called our local Ashley furniture store to find out the price. Their price was a little more than double. reason given. They bring them fully assembled to your home. It was unworthy of us. Both tables were assembled by my husband in less than 1/2 hour and we saved a lot of money. Very happy with this product.
