This dress was made from spandex material. Most maxis are made from cotton or a cotton/polyester blend. It wasn't for breathing. My daughter has a sensory processing disorder and felt very uncomfortable. The seams inside were also rough. Also, the size of the bodice (top) appeared to be larger than the size of the bottom of the skirt. Just an unclean cut. We returned it.
