It took me and my friend about 45 minutes to put this on our wall as we had alignment issues. We had to mark the template for this with parchment paper or cardboard. The hanging screw holes are about 1.5 inches from the top, 2-4 inches from the sides, and at least 1-2 inches from the bottom, so it took us a bit of time to get the screws placed correctly. (We were having a bad day so it's mostly our fault) It would be nice if there was a wall stencil for this shelf/mail sorter/key holder. It does its job quite well :) If you often have oversized letters, this mail sorter is not for you. It can hold 3-5 regular envelopes per slot.
