Again, it looks like an original OSRAM lamp. I didn't get my microscope out, but I did a visual comparison and it's authentic. Installation took about 15 minutes. If I have to buy one every 10 months I think a 200 inch screen is a worthwhile investment. The brightness is good, even with the mood on. Wear rubber or latex gloves when installing the lamp. Do not touch it anywhere other than the ceramic "end" possible. Update: One month usage. Works flawlessly. We use the projector as our "main TV" so it's literally on for almost 10 hours straight every day. This lightbulb is a great purchase. Update 2: It's been a year and 4 months and she's still going strong! The lamp has 5426 equivalent lamp hours. That's about 226 days "on time". We use this project from about noon to midnight with multiple starts and stops. This is an amazing purchase. See pictures for lamp hours. The lamp dimmed a little, but hardly.
