It's wrapping paper as you would expect.

The product fully corresponds to the description. The wrapping paper is thick enough that you don't have to worry about tearing, but not so thick that it's difficult to wrap. Standard size tube for wrapping paper. I wrapped some bags in it and have some left over, although I can't say I measured it. I have no reason to doubt that 16 feet of paper exists. Seven dollars for wrapping paper may seem like a lot at first, but it's as simple as a few rolls, so it's about what you'd pay at the store anyway.
