I bought this for my 6 year old son as his first drone. There is definitely a learning curve and the short battery life can be frustrating at first when you start learning how to fly this drone. Once you get over it and realize it's SO FUN! We can terrorize the dog and have fun flying this thing. Fun for everyone in the family. I definitely recommend reading the user guide cover to cover and then doing it again just so you understand the basic operations before attempting to run it. Finally, check out the parents of first-time drone owners or younger kids: pre-charge the drone and learn the basics before giving it to your kids. This will help a lot!
