reviews that the glass in this watch breaks so easily almost put me off this one. But it was the coolest and most functional thing I've ever seen, which is why I bought it. I work in a print shop and I'm constantly bending over tables and picking up stacks of paper, I've hit this clock very hard many times and it keeps its glass (which seems pretty thick) and it keeps ticking. I hang it on a chain around my neck. It is very convenient to read the time and date. I wear it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in the shower, lean over the sink and pat it on the sink many times. It seems pretty strong. and the display is concise and easy to read in no time at all. I love it.
