i bought this razor because it can be disassembled for on the go. I've been using it as a daily shaver for over a week and I love it! The weight is perfect for me. I get a very close two pass shave with no irritation or cuts. This is a fairly aggressive razor, so technique is important. The quality of the fit is excellent---stable position of the blade and angle. Build quality is excellent on the grip, very good on the bottom plate, and good (one or two visible chrome spots) on the top plate. This razor may not have the quality of a $100 razor, but it's a great $30 razor. In addition, the possibility of disassembling into four parts is very convenient for travel.
