This is a really nice looking box at a great price! Plenty of room for thicker/rounder artisanal loaves - we can fit two loaves - but probably only a long loaf the size of Miracle Bread will fit. We have room for two artisan loaves and a couple of bagels. Excellent! Here are two modifications I've made and suggest others consider, but they don't affect the product. The sliding door was a bit tacky at first, but when you have a lot of wood furniture like I do, that's the nature of things. The birthday cake candle has done its job - it fits perfectly in the slider's grove, and now the door is purring like a kitten. The second modification was to add four non-slip glued feet at the bottom as the wood surface slides over our laminated jamb when you lift the door. Did! It's really awesome with these little mods!
