TLDR; If you use this in a place that isn't mounted directly to a solid wall/surface it will become too transparent and you'll have to spend more time/money to get it working. Ordered this as the screen part of my homemade outdoor cinema screen. I built a 150" frame out of 3/4" PVC and it worked really well. However, after installation, I noticed that the screen material is too transparent. This was particularly bad with my frame design, which included offset supports behind the screen for reinforcement. So in order for this to work for me, I had to buy black fabric (street canvas) to make a backdrop that attaches to the frame, which cost me about twice as much as this screen. Once that was done I can say the screen is great and got a lot of compliments from the movie night guests.
