I bought an Otterbox case for my new iPad Pro 10.5. It seemed adequate for the protection task, but I knew I could use the keyboard. I considered the Apple option, but it seemed to me that it was more about keyboard accessibility than protection. I was looking at the Logitech Case and Bluetooth Keyboard versions as I use many Logitech products and am completely satisfied with all of them. It was the reviews for this product that made me return Otterbox and give it a try. I ordered with the thought that I hope it is as good as advertised so I don't have to return another product that isn't exactly what I wanted. I will not return this product. I can't imagine how the design could be better. The iPad Pro is attached with a magnet north of the keyboard and can be easily removed again. The viewing angle of the support is adjustable in several positions. According to my postal scale, the whole thing weighs 2 kilos. 2.4 ounces, all inclusive. So featherweight isn't exactly light, but it's not what I was looking for at all. It's noted that the battery life is slightly less than Logitech's, but it's still measured in years. The packaging states that the battery is rechargeable. I see a connector on the side of the keyboard that allows this. It doesn't look like the batteries are available or replaceable. If I get 4 to 6 years, I'm satisfied. To be honest the people who developed this should be prescribed for the common cold. If so, I suspect the common cold will be history in six months.
