DO NOT BUY! I knew better, but I made the purchase anyway, maybe I was in a rush then, I don't know, but now I need a new laptop. I checked the charger information at the time and it showed that it was compatible with my HP. THE FIRST time I plugged it into my laptop it froze and I was only able to use the original charger (which was out of the box and was due to be replaced eventually but still worked. Thought I was pre-emptive *welp* ) while the laptop was completely turned off. Now after I took it to the Geek Squad they confirmed that the motherboard was burned by the BatteryMon charger and my laptop is completely useless and won't even turn on. The blessing is that the vendor's customer service partnered with me and paid for me. to run a diagnosis. However, I now need my laptop and since I bought this charger, my work for the last few months is done.
