Severe diaper rash alert

I was really looking forward to these diapers. I like original diapers. My baby didn't have a single diaper rash for the first three months of her life while we were using them. When I heard about Pampers Pure, I thought it was definitely the best of both worlds - the super absorbency and leak protection I love about Pampers, only with the addition of all-natural ingredients. I WAS WRONG. These diapers appear to be of good quality but they do NOT wick moisture well. I've never had a problem with leakage (no more than with diapers), but I noticed almost immediately that my baby was starting to get horrible diaper rash. It was so red and soggy (which was BAD) and I had to change it every 30 minutes to keep the diaper rash from getting worse. It was with diaper rash cream and baby powder. These diapers simply retain moisture against your baby's skin and aren't breathable at all. There's always a chance my daughter was allergic to something in these diapers, but given the hypoallergenic materials, I'm more inclined to believe that the lack of moisture absorption in these diapers is what caused the permanent diaper rash. Two weeks later I switched back to the original diapers and my baby's SEVERE diaper rash was gone within two days. I appreciate that Pampers is trying to offer more natural diapers for parents who still want to use disposable diapers. brings diaper rash from hell, its not for you.
