I work in construction and my truck is my work car and my recreational vehicle. I need a seat cover that I can easily remove in good clothes. I've tried towels and they tend to be too small and never stay in place. I used fitted sheets for a double bed and they covered the seat but they were thin and not waterproof. In my case I have to say that they are sweat proof. It often happens that I come home from work completely wet and drenched in sweat. Oh, and I'm also usually covered in dirt or oil and grease. I bought this waterproof SeatShield Gray EliteSport and it was worth every penny. It has been over two years (May 2017) since I purchased this SeatShield and it is still in great condition. All the while they were deployed more than five days a week. It is very stain resistant. There isn't a single stain anywhere and it's holding up very well. The waterproof EliteSport seat option is wider and longer than any other general purpose seat cover on the market. 29 inches wide x 60 inches long. I bought this for a 2011 Ford F150 with a 40-20-40 split front seat and this cover does an excellent job of covering the entire driver's seat. A little less and I wouldn't have thought as I knew my seat was properly protected. I highly recommend this seat protector and will buy the product again.
