This item arrived already torn in the packaging (which is normal) but I assume it was returned as the contents were already damaged (not for suitable for resale) . One lid in the set was torn and the other only partially glued. I decided that returning the entire kit wasn't worth the carbon footprint (although it would be nice to replace the lid) and glued everything together. When I washed them before stuffing, I had to remove the seals and dry the end of the paper towel in the crevices. It's hard to believe they're airtight when water drips through the seal. I suspect they'll work for things like chocolate chips that aren't exposed to moisture or insects, but I'm not optimistic about how different flours will perform. Mediocre product and poor resale rates for damaged items.
