Kudos to the designers of this Sleepypod medium sized mobile bed! I was more than skeptical about the reasonable price of this product at $183. What ultimately won us over was the attention to pet safety and the use of crash test results in development. Now that I have been using this Sleepypod with our small dog for regular travel for the past 6 months I am increasingly impressed with its solid construction, durability, ease of use in the car or at home and attractive design. Our dog would prefer to be on our lap when traveling but we want to keep him safe. Now she eats her treats and sleeps in them. Since our dog was scratching at her bed, I was afraid that the inside or the grid would quickly collapse. In terms of Sleepypod size, our small 7.5 lb dog uses the medium so he can move around a bit during a long drive. Although it's a very comfortable bed, we stop to stretch, walk, or run about every 90 minutes or so. and take your dog with you! We rate this with 5 full stars and recommend the round mobile pet bed Sleepypod.
