My family uses XBOX One controllers and replaces them all the time. TBH, genuine XBOX One OEM controllers are the best. But they're expensive, and it's hard to keep spending money on controllers all the time. So we decided to leave the "real" controllers for adults and buy controllers from other manufacturers for children. This controller is really good for what it is. It's not designed for a ton of bells and whistles. The biggest issue I have is that during use I felt and heard a click and then the right hand trigger lost most of its resistance. The controller was still usable, but required a noticeable lack of pressure to operate. It was the first day I got it - and I was just playing Minecraft. The headphone jack has noise when I use the headphones to talk in game, but when I plugged the headphones into the original controller everything was clear. Just comparing it to an OEM controller gives you a sense of how flimsy the plastic and buttons are. Otherwise it is the same size as the OEM controller. It's plug and play. It's lightweight so my 6 year old will find it easier to use. I think next time I buy a new XBOX One controller I will try another brand. I hope this review was helpful to you!
