We ordered disassembled. Item arrives with no damage or missing parts. The packaging was very good. Assembly took several hours from unpacking and assembling the parts to the finished cabinet. The instructions were exceptionally good, worth five stars. All parts and equipment were clearly marked. Written step-by-step instructions were included, and each step had a detailed drawing, listing the specific equipment needed. No questions about which screw or bolt to use. The hardware was fairly decent, not the poor quality screws and bolts that come with some DIY kits. The hardest part was attaching the doors. Pilot holes are drilled in the side of the cabinet to facilitate attachment of the doors, which come with hinges already attached. We recommend putting the cabinet on its side when attaching the doors. Some of the pilot holes were slightly offset, but we were able to work around that. This can potentially be a big problem for an inexperienced assembler. We're deducting a star due to this issue and some minor scuffs and dents on the pre-assembled hardware. The finished cabinet looks exactly like the photos on the web. In our browser, the color of the acorn finish displayed accurately and truly replicates the pale finish of mid-century modern pieces. I was able to fit most bottles on the lower door shelves. Large bottles of vermouth did not fit on the interior shelves, but were simply placed on the doors. If you're buying giant economy bottles of spirits, you may have trouble fitting them. It's time to order a decanter.
