Efficient delivery drivers do not use carts

The question I hear at least once a week goes something like this. You: I'm a new driver at the grocery store delivery service. My delivery route includes 5 destinations with 15-20 bags at each stop. What is the best folding cart? IM: Why the shopping cart? Her: It's easier to pack a bunch of bags in a shopping cart and lug it to the front door. Without them, I don't take more than three bags at a time. The trolley must also be collapsible. A standard car takes up too much space and only has to make 4 stops instead of 5 on each route. Me: XL bags would be better for all the reasons you just mentioned. shopping bags. And put the heaviest bags in the XL bag first. On 5 there is usually enough space. A total of 7 bags fit in one or two light bags. If you then load the second bag. This is more efficient than loading 5 into one cart. That's four trips to the door. XL bags come out twice. Plus, these car-to-door trips won't interrupt your workflow. With shoulder bags. Much easier to climb stairs. Carts don't climb stairs well. Don't worry about XL bags taking up space in your car. The trolley takes up space in the vehicle and is also inconvenient when bags are placed on top of the folded trolley. You could even sit on the bags to maybe make room to add another stop to the route.
