Wow, very surprised how well it works at night!

The previous car had an auto-dimming rear-view mirror. Recently switched to Kia Soul which did not have this feature. I've really forgotten how spoiled I was with auto dimming since everyone's been driving with the damn headlights lately instead of replacing a blown bulb. Either way, I'd flip the switch to dim the mirror, but I'd forget to put it back in. 'Cause it's getting so dark I installed the Kitbest mirror in the factory mirror. Wow, it's a bit bigger, but luckily I can still put sunscreen on my windshield without any problem. The mirror has a wide-angle view (remember how fisheye lenses look on phone cameras today). This allows you to see everything around you from the rear passenger's windows. If someone has their own headlights, they don't blind you completely, which is great. You no longer have to flip a switch to dim, which I really like. Only the blue glass effect to avoid glare takes some getting used to, but that's not a big deal. I love how you can really see everything behind you. I adjusted it to be a bit closer to the passenger side of the car. Now I can see behind me and the blind spot on the right.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
