This was ordered for my son who is in 2nd grade. He's smaller, so we wanted to find a bag that had all the organization compartments but was small enough for him. That's great! It only fits around his waist and he can wear whatever he needs. Since we're in a virtual school right now, it's really helpful to have a padded pocket for his iPad in the large compartment. It appears to be quite thick and has strong stitching. However, I'm a little worried about the zippers, they seem a bit cheap. However, given that this book bag is intended for a rude second grader, I'm not sure many brands can stand up to his bullying. I took my time and sprayed some lube on the zipper to avoid any problems. Even if the zippers break after a few months, it's still a great purchase for the money.
