I bought the set in beige and tested it during the first arctic cold wind on the east coast in autumn 2019 when there was a real feeling of around 28F. I have shared the collar with my elderly mother and she has also tested it and liked it. We both thought it kept us fried and warm as hell. I was thinking of getting her a set too, but she prefers SML sized hats over one size, so we looked elsewhere for her. They may seem too narrow for large heads. I'm sure I'm ready for winter.
