This was a gift for my nephew to add to his camping supplies so not having used myself, I cannot attest to the durability and comfort. I will say that my nephew was really surprised and tickled to receive the double hammock as - unknown to me - he had already purchased a single one.so. great minds! What I can attest to are the features that attracted me to make this purchase - that it is compact and light weight, making it easily totable and a plus for camping. I thought the parachute material would make it more durable and that it would dry more quickly than a rope or canvas hammock making it more convenient for camping or the back yard. I expected the package to be small but I was blown away when it arrived and the package was no bigger than a softball and hardly weighed anything . and this includes all the attachment straps and hardware! I'll have to come back with my nephew's comments on actual usage, comfort and durability, later.
