This jacket is as described. The weight is just right, not to heavy. Zipped up, the top its just below the "adams apple". This jacket keep you warm, but not warm temp in the 20's and wind chill in the single digits. You come in from the cold and keep it on if you want to, you won't get too warm. Great jacket!
