The Ekouaer board shorts fit as expected but aren't flattering on me. I needed long swim shorts for my daily trips to the pool with my toddler and while they technically fit, they look VERY unflattering on my Apple uniform! For reference, I'm 5'10", I weigh 200 pounds and most of the weight is on my stomach. I usually wear a size 14-16 or XL. I bought an XL PROS - long enough not to rub my stomach - XL fits waist (tie) and hips as expected - material holds up to washing - softness - seams well done MINUS - see through! I am pale and it shows in the pallor that shows through her when leaning or in she squats. What I do all the time, play with my baby. Waist too high! (Crazy talking) I'm 5ft 10" tall and they're a few inches above my navel. basically how big maternity pants go. And if you get one Having a round stomach isn't flattering. They don't hold anything, null, zilch. Even regular swimsuits or even loose-fitting yoga shorts hold things in place, but these don't. So no slimming, shaping, holding or smoothing. - Because they don't have anything in my stomach (C-section construction ch) stress and I look pregnant. - I have worn many unflattering things for comfort and functionality and my husband never says anything bad. But with these he said to return them as they accentuate my belly ie make me look pregnant. So ladies. If you have an apple character like mine, please skip this one! They are NOT suitable for mom's tummy!
