Super cute! Definitely just two boards with holes drilled and string, but you're paying for the convenience of not having to do it yourself but having it assembled and shipped to you. With two hooks for each it should hold 8lbs which I was concerned about as some of my flower pots are quite heavy but it's holding up well! I don't have power tools and was able to turn the hooks by hand, but the ease of doing this will depend on your wall. The only thing I really want is for the wood to be stained and sealed, I think it looks better that way. All in all a good buy if you want something cheap, effective and beautiful without cluttering other surfaces in your home.
