Review on ROCCAT Vulcan Compact Mechanical Keyboard by Matthew Bell

This is the best keyboard I have ever used in my life. The switches are fast, responsive, and give good tactile feedback when pressed. The solid aluminum base and low profile give it a very balanced look. I also like that the buttons aren't recessed into the circuit board, making it easy to clean between buttons. I probably write 10,000-15,000 words a week and it all still feels very solid. It's also small enough to slip into your backpack for when you need to hop on the go. Haven't played with it much yet but what I've made looks great. If you want to take full advantage of LEDs, be sure to download the Roccat Swarm software so you can create your own color profiles and patterns. Personally, I really like the highlight options, but you can turn off all of those things if you don't want to use them. All in all, this is a great keyboard. I'd like a wireless version, but oh well.
