GREAT TASTE AND ARTHRITIS REDUCER

Antinol was recommended to us by my head vet after our cat was diagnosed with arthritis in the knees and hips. This is an expensive product that is dosed once a day and comes in a gel cap similar to a fish oil capsule. Our cat refused to eat the pod like this so we had to cut open the pod and feed him apple mackerel loin. It is EXTREMELY difficult to get pod juice out of a pod because the outer layer is very strong. We cut it open with scissors and tried to squeeze out the juice, but it always seemed like a good chunk was lost in the process. Our cat didn't like the taste so we had to use it as a treat. We also saw almost no improvement after using it from October to December. Our orthopedic vet told me that there was a recent study that said DHA was actually more beneficial for cats with arthritis and EPA was more beneficial for dogs. He had also never heard of Antinol. I showed him the box and he said he wouldn't recommend it as it didn't clearly state what percentage the kitten was getting in each capsule. He recommended switching to Wild Caught, Non-GMO Omega-3 Fish Oil for Cats Reduces hair loss Supports skin, coat, joints, heart, brain, immune system, has the highest potency of EPA and DHA, the only ingredient is fish, pump bottle per 16 oz. Doesn't matter! Our cat loved the taste and found it easy to give her a pump or two of wet food a day. We decided to replace his wet food with Ziwi Peak's, the best food recommended for cats with arthritis as it already contains green shells - as well as the active ingredient Antinol. Our orthopedic vet said it's much less stressful and easier for cats to have green mussels in a food source rather than in pill form. Although Ziwi Peak is more expensive than other cat foods, it is more nutritious and contains the same ingredients as Antinol, so don't waste your money on Antinol, simply buy a higher quality cat food that already contains green mussel protein and add some of yours Favorite EPA. My cat was much happier, less stressed and his arthritis didn't seem to bother him as much in less time.
