I first bought it from a local pharmacy on a whim. I got warm from it the first time I applied it - I thought it was defective! I later learned that this was normal, and then I welcomed that feeling. I only use it every other day but I look forward to those days! I really like that it does NOT contain silicon dioxide like many other scrubs - from an ecological point of view, silicon dioxide is terrible and banned in Europe. I wish it contained all natural ingredients; it doesn't, but has a whole lot of it. Gently massage until the sugar melts, rinse off and my skin feels amazing. It's not spicy at all, it doesn't take much and lasts quite a long time. (I actually bought two this time!) I'm in my 70's and always mistakenly thought I was 10 years younger. That alone is worth it.
