I teach online using interactive whiteboards so a good quality pen was very important. From the start I was struggling to get it working and wrote to LAZARITE support who responded promptly and quickly. It turns out that all I had to do was hold down both buttons for 5 seconds to activate the stylus. Since then I've had to deal with this a few times when the pen stopped working. This pen works great with my Lenovo Ideapad Flex5. The only snag is that the buttons on the side of the pen are awkwardly placed, so I sometimes accidentally erase. I've only had the pen for a short time so I'm not sure how good the battery is, but so far very happy with my purchase.
