Prevents sweating but has disadvantages

I've been using Degrees 08/15 women's solid antiperspirant/deodorant for years but it doesn't work anymore so I was on my way to find something else. I first tried the Secret Clinical Strength antiperspirant/deodorant (not this product) but I started getting breakouts all over my armpits. In general, I don't have sensitive skin and I've never had a problem with deodorants, so I didn't think much about it, but decided to try this formula for sensitive skin. Unfortunately, this also causes me to redden, although not as intensely as with Secret Clinical Strength. PROS of Almay Antiperspirant/Deodorant for sensitive skin: - Prevents sweat/odor - Only a small amount of product is needed - Very affordable CONS: - I get redness in my armpit creases where the product seems to pool during the day/night - My armpits feel very dry and itchy after a few days of use - Gel formula takes a long time to dry and then becomes sticky for hours. I've found some workarounds to solve these problems by wearing tank tops until they're completely dry after applying and rinsing thoroughly every night before bed to keep them from wrinkling, but once I'm back full time...office time, this will not be a sustainable, everyday approach. It might work for you and probably worth trying given the low price, but that was my negative experience. I'm still looking for an effective deodorant that doesn't cause rashes.

Pros
  • Great overall effectiveness
Cons
  • Doubtful
