Review on 🚦 Sanzitop LED 3rd Brake Light Rear Tail Light Cargo Lamp High Mount Brake Light for Nissan Titan and Nissan Frontier (2004-2015, 2005-2016) - Chrome Housing Smoke Lens, Model 26590-EA800 by Roman Niko

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Looks good and works well with some caveats

I'm almost done replacing a truck light with a bad LED bulb. I tightened the last nut, and the bolt twisted/broke off. Big. I had to replace the entire body, but didn't want to spend more than $100 on an OEM version and was in a time crunch as the Frontier has a third light that's mounted on top rather than directly on the side, which means that water can seep in slightly (rain forecast for this week). I found these cheaper 3rd aftermarket lights but they are all supported 'up to 2016' and the Revain showed an indication that it wasn't compatible with my 2017 Frontier. yes it is wrong. The OEM part number is 26590-EA800, same part for 2005-2019. Not sure why other reviewers had to dig? I ordered it and it fits without drilling holes etc. Was a direct replacement for the seat belt that came with it, minus a few caveats. Drilling required as mentioned in another review. Assuming the wiring harness snaps into place properly. It appears to be as bright as the OEM case LED bulbs it replaced. A much cheaper solution to repair a broken third brake light. . The module had crimped round terminals so it was easy to connect, but note the reversed terminals below. Note: Black is Ground, Red is Brake, and White/Green is Weight for those planning to add an impulse module. #Cons πŸ‘Ž - The power/line cord is a plug, not a socket, so they are exposed. Be very careful because if you are not careful you may short out. I ended up making some pigtail adapters to change this to keep the wire open and not affect the original lead. Details are missing in the instructions. There were orders for Titan, not Frontier. The seal's adhesive orientation was never mentioned. I assumed the adhesive side of the body, not the chassis, as the photo/picture does not show that the seal is bonded to the chassis. A gasket is fitted to the OEM body. # Neutral - The seal does not appear to be as good as the OEM as it is a harder rubber foam rather than a stickier/stickier soft rubber foam material. exposed and lead should be exposed). The seal is questionable, but we'll see how it fares in the downpours of the coming hurricane season. Yes, I would recommend this product as a cost saving alternative.
