That's enough for my 15 inch HP work laptop. I use it to put my laptop on a wooden table to cool it down even more. They are small silicone feet that stick to the aluminum like silicone. You have to press slowly and firmly. It took me a bit of fiddling to get it working, but it worked in the end. I installed a dock so I don't have to move my laptop around as much. If I had to move it, that would be a problem. This will NOT work in your lap, you need to get a full fan for this.
