This stand is strong, actually a little too strong, and it's a little tight if you try to adjust the ergonomics. The design is very simple and clear. I use it to hold my iPad, phone and books. The best thing about this stand is that the hook at the bottom is very wide so it holds heavy books very well. The bottom of the stand is non-slip and the stand is very good and nothing slips. Update: After using this stand for a few weeks I really fell in love with this stand. Not only do I use it to hold my iPad and phone, but it's so durable that I can use it to hold my heavy textbook. Very well designed and built.
