The touchscreen works pretty well - not perfect, but good. These gloves are very light and easily fit in your bag - even in your jeans pocket. I always keep a pair of gloves in my glove compartment. These are not particularly warm gloves, do not buy them unless you need lightweight gloves. They're a bit difficult to clean, and because they're fibrous, dirt, grass, dust, etc. collect on them. like a sweater or socks. If you work with your hands, maybe choose something made of a different material.
