I started with the Sierra High Packs. I then upgraded to a $200 HEX bag. I use a Canon 5D Mk IV and usually carry 2-4 prime lenses (35mm, 50mm, 100mm, sometimes 17-50 Sigma for 4K video). All lenses are quite heavy. I also have a 70-200mm lens which if you've ever held one in your hands you know it's a brick. The fancy straps of the HEX bag started to wear out. I paid a leather cutter to strengthen them. I've been thinking about the Lowe Pro Tactical Tortoiseshell Bag for a while. But even this bag is not designed for comfort. (not hard shell but just as good in my opinion) and organization so the weight is on the hips rather than the shoulders. And it's convenient, unlike the HEX and Lowe Pro. Check out this backpack on YouTube to see other people's video reviews. If you use heavy DSLRs and lenses and a Mac Book Pro like me, you won't regret buying this backpack.
