Review on 🚗 Black Poitcto Air Vent Car Mount - MagSafe Charger Compatible by Jay Williams

I've been waiting forever for a good MagSafe charging/mounting system for my iPhone 12 Pro in the car. While the Bellini mount feels solid, it doesn't charge, which is good for those who need to connect their phone to use CarPlay. I rent a 2019 BMW 4 Series with wireless CarPlay, so I wanted something that would both mount and charge my phone at the full 15 watts while maintaining a clear view of my phone while driving. This mount does NOT include the Apple MagSafe charging puck, and why is it $10? It's perfectly shaped to secure the puck inside and hold it to my vent with ease. I drove it through some terrible potholes while driving vigorously and in hot weather. The phone never fell, but I thought so! The mount itself is well designed and feels solid. It works well with my horizontal slats, although I can see that it's not long enough to really dig in if you have vertical slats or deeper horizontal slats. I installed the nut on the bottom bar so the base of this mount rests against the skin. and stays in place. Any higher and the weight of the phone tilts the vent down. It charges my phone while driving and uses it with Apple Music, Wake, Google Maps, etc. I plugged a Puck into a USB-C PD cigarette lighter adapter, which provides more than enough power for a full 15W charge . It was a great purchase and it fits my needs perfectly! There are a few caveats about MagSafe, though: You'll have limited or no success using an actual MagSafe without a phone or MagSafe-style magnetic case. In a non-MagSafe case, the distance between the phone and the charger is too far to fit securely. less and it will affect the loading speed. (This is noted in Apple's MagSafe puck notes on their website.) Other mounts with a built-in washer will say "Fast Charge", "Fast Charge", "15W Charge" in the description. This is misleading and false advertising as to my knowledge there is no Apple licensed manufacturer that has released a truly licensed MagSafe charger to date. You'll be charged at 7.5W at best, which is Apple's fastest wireless charging speed before the iPhone 12. So buyers beware, you will be disappointed if you expect the fastest charge. The reason I bought this is because it is a mount that holds the original Apple MagSafe charger so I can get the fastest charging speed while still being able to easily put the phone back on and drive away.
