I'm new to sandals and am slowly trying to integrate them into my everyday life. These shoes seem to make the process a lot longer because I just don't like wearing them. The material (which resembles Crocs) feels weird against my skin, the outsole doesn't offer adequate protection from particularly sharp rocks, and the toe box makes the shoe creak. Physically I go barefoot most of the time and can anticipate the terrain much better with a tactile ground connection than with this rigged version. Also, they're really unattractive and I generally have a thing for "ugly" shoes. The only positive thing I can say about them is that they are really great water shoes and that's probably all I would wear them for. I chose my European size and I think it fits best what I was hoping for.
