I bought these shoes as a gift for my dad who just had back surgery and needed a slipper to take home as he couldn't could bend down to put on normal shoes. He loved them - they were the perfect solution for comfortable yet durable shoes. Like slippers, but with a durable sole. The upper tongue of the shoe is very close to it. He easily solved the problem by cutting two elastic bands on each side of the tongue. Haha! The low price made it a viable option, and they were for the home only. But since it's barely noticeable, it would probably be nice to wear them on the street like that. Thank you for offering such large sizes. It is very difficult for him to find size 14 shoes.
