I just ordered these to replace a multipack that was accidentally delivered to us in March 2020 when the GP said "stop buying masks, they don't work." Not long after, The masks became fashionable, baby, and with these, I started wearing one. Things that struck me right away compared to the abominations some people wear... Slightly. Slim. Porous. Not muted. Very easy to breathe . "DONE!" I thought, and boy was I right. I've been wearing this mask exclusively since the beginning, which means I've been wearing these things for about 11 months. I broke the strap on one - It's just foam rubber and will break if the mask is under a heavy book and you pull on it like I did! So I tied it together. Still on duty. I use it when visiting less wealthy friends. I talk a lot at work. This mask fits best to avoid pinching. Easy to breathe, very light. Ita k, how about protection from all those pathogens that are floating around? Well, who knows, right? I mean, there aren't any randomized, double-blind, peer-reviewed studies comparing a mask like this to the disgusting cloth diapers some people wear. Right? But can we guess? Of course. The size of a coronary ion is about 100 nanometers. The pore size of a typical surgical mask is about 40 microns. What is 40,000 nanometers. This means that the airborne SARS-CoV-2 virion is about 1/400th the size of the average pore size in a surgical mask. Think of your surgical mask as a house with windows but all the windows are broken and the virus is a tennis ball and the virus has to go through one of the window openings (pore size) to get into your house (mouth). than a surgical mask, so the correct analogy is probably this: Her house (grandmother's mask) is made of a chain link fence. Virus is marble. Can marble get in? In summary, this mask is probably TERRIBLE at protecting against the virus. So if you think masks work and you want to keep the virus out, buy a respirator with an asbestos face mask, or at least a surgical mask. Mask. On the other hand, if you only wear a mask to avoid being attacked by mask holes, then this mask might be something for you.
