Odd rolling product

Has anyone else noticed that after using this product and applying day cream or makeup something causes one of them to roll in bits and pieces across your face? It's really extreme for skin to peel off, but I'm pretty sure either this product or the day cream are reacting with each other. When I missed this product, it didn't. What causes such a reaction.
