I wanted to like them. Because I often drive home at sunset, I needed the convenience of photochromic lenses for commuting. They looked like a good addition to my retro scooter. Unfortunately, I found the frame too big and not enough padding for a comfortable fit. The general build quality was also mixed. Pros: The photochromic transition was good, and the vents cleared the fog from the lenses pretty quickly while driving. Cons: The frames are too big even for this style. My vertical peripheral vision was severely limited. The padding, on the other hand, is very thin and not enough to be worn comfortably for more than twenty or thirty minutes at a time. The frame around the glasses is not metal, but chrome-plated plastic, which came loose on one side when trying to adjust it for the first time. I was able to reattach it fairly easily, but it didn't fit perfectly and left a small gap somewhere for wind to get into that eye. The strap also has an odd adjustment at the center of the back rather than the side connection points. In general, it may suit other people, but I return them.
