I bought several glass containers hoping to replace my giant plastic iced tea pitcher with a glass pitcher. Others I've found seem too small or flimsy for everyday tabletop to fridge use. So I brewed tea in a glass and poured it into plastic. I think I've found a winner: I can pour boiling water to brew this glass pitcher and then refrigerate it once it's cooled. Glass seems thicker than most, even more expensive ones. The handle feels good in the hand, but doesn't look like it's about to come loose. The lace is an unexpected but fantastic surprise. It goes in and out with ease. I can rotate the lid to open or close, and there is a filter hole and a larger hole to choose from. The whole jug is spectacularly understated but very well designed. I understand that there is a limit to the amount of liquid that a glass container can comfortably hold. Other than that, it's a good size. I just wish I could double the size but that's just crazy talk.
