Know before you buy!

I thought they were bone conduction headphones when I ordered them. I have 2 pairs of bone conduction headphones and love hearing my surroundings when listening to music and podcasts. It's more like a small speaker that sits in front of your ear and sends sound into your ear instead of transmitting sound through your facial bones. It doesn't cover your ear and doesn't tuck into your ear, which keeps your ear open and free, which is nice. The sound is actually better than bone conduction due to inherent flaws in bone conduction technology. While traditional headphones like my Airpods and Beats sound better, they both require something that you can put in or over your ears. I was pleasantly surprised by these open-ear headphones. The sound is pretty good. It was quite normal to use it to make a call as people would ask me if I was using speakerphone and might have said I was using something else. Touch controls on the side. It's an improvement over using physical buttons, but the touch controls kept getting unintentionally activated by my helmet's straps as they rubbed the touch controls while I was riding my bike, electric skateboard, or Onewheel. I found them great for solo hikes. In the forest. I could still hear Mother Nature and my audio book at the same time. Win, win.
