Good boots but big, ordered one size down

i love lightning My child has a wide fit and wears a 10 to 10.5 WIDE in Stride Rite for reference. I ordered 10 and 11. We tried the 10s first. They are very long on her, even with thick wool socks. I'll keep them because it was a great sale and she will use them - eventually, but I'm also ordering a size 9. (Update: size 9 fits perfectly. Doesn't fit Ling BC, they fit too well but perfect) for the crazy winter we're having. She can walk in them and even if she forgot to tie them up once or twice they did a great job.) Will think about it once they arrive. Pleased with the construction around the ankle. She shot her knuckles on her scads. With great winter trousers they are still "wearable" but much longer. They feel much better reinforced and feel roomy enough for comfort. (Upgraded, easy to get in and out of and handles my super rough and fall baby well.)

Pros
  • True to size. These boots are perfect! Highly recommended!
Cons
  • Boots are difficult to clean after dirty and messy activities
