Received the ankle brace quickly. I wear men's shoes 9 1/2 D. I ordered a large size. I have arthritis in my left ankle and sometimes it feels like the ligaments are hanging which is VERY painful. That aside, although it's snug and has a bit of trouble getting it on, it seems to support the ankle properly. I have never sprained my ankle or hung a ligament. It does not block blood flow and does its job. Worth buying.
