I love these pillows, they are probably my favorite pillows in my entire room. The fabric is very thick, which I think is very durable. However, I tore the seam of the zipper a bit while trying to stuff the pillow, so I'm not really sure about the durability. The colors are so subtle that they really brighten up the room and go with any color (I have them with my fir green velvet cushions on the couch). I'm not sure if you can tell that from a photo but I have a very hairy pit bull and her hair is all over the pillow and visible up close but not so much from a distance and it really doesn't bother me . So one thing to note about these pillows is that they appear to hold the dog's hair in place and don't come off too easily (especially likely if you have a dark haired dog). As you can see I really like these cushions and their design overall, but I'm not sure about the durability/dog hair issue.
