It was hard to find a navy blue dress for my 6 year old so I was lucky enough to stumble across this item. It has a soft satin lining and a chiffon outer layer. It has held up very well (so far) for my daughter, who gets dirty all the time and crawls on the floor. The floral accent is a separate element that you attach where you want, but it went through the wash and the flower came loose from the base (my mistake) so I had to re-glue it. But it worked great for our family photos. My daughter is 6.48 pounds and we ordered a size 6.
