Real review! As a chef/person who loves to grill every day, I cannot understand how this 6 in 1 grill got such high ratings. First, there is no basic temperature setting on the heat controls, even the electric skillet and deep fryer have temperature settings. So why not this grill? Who wants to guess what temperature you set! Anyway, after putting this 6-in-1 grill through its paces. Personally I can say "It's not worth it." The unit heats up unevenly, the top and bottom plates have 2 different temperatures when the high temperature is on. I used a professional temperature gun to take the temperature of the plates! When grilling steaks, the temperature of the plates should be the same. If you're using it to make french toast or even an omelette, it's a complete failure. For most people this grill will do, but for me this is one of those, I think I need items you buy and use first. Then after a while they put it in the closet and you forget about it. Like these aero grills. I want a device that I use every day and this device is not the right one. If this unit had 2 good plate temperature controllers I would keep it. But it's not worth the price and going back. I will buy the GR-150 Cuisinart.
